Application Instructions

Cedarville Graduate Programs invite applications from qualifi ed students who are able to present strong academic credentials and a clear testimony of faith in Christ. Cedarville University does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, color, national origin, sex, or disability.

  1. Application for Admission - Complete and return the application. Be sure to answer every question. If the question does not apply to you, write "N/A" in the space provided.
  2. Church Leader Recommendation - Have a leader at your church who is familiar with your testimony and spiritual development complete and return this form.
  3. Letter of Recommendation - Have your administrator or supervisor submit a letter of recommendation for you.
  4. Transcripts - Send transcripts from every college or university you have attended. Use the enclosed transcript request or similar form to have your offi cial transcript(s) sent to graduate admissions.
  5. Test Scores - Provide test scores from the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Please contact the Educational Testing Service (ETS) at www.gre.org to have an official score report sent to Cedarville University. Cedarville's institution code is 1151.
  6. Application Fee - Submit a $30 non-refundable application fee. Send a check or money order made payable in U.S. dollars to Cedarville University.

Application materials become the property of Cedarville University. Once submitted, these items cannot be returned, transferred, or duplicated for use at other schools. Cedarville complies fully with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

Applicants who generally meet admission standards but lack one or more requirements (e.g., GRE scores or a college transcript) may, upon recommendation by the Graduate Admissions Committee, be offered conditional acceptance. Conditional acceptance may permit a student to complete up to 12 credits, at which time all admission requirements must be satisfi ed. All conditionally accepted students are reviewed regularly for continuance.

Application Procedure

Your application will be processed and reviewed by the Graduate Admissions Committee as soon as all of the materials are received. You will be notifi ed by letter within two weeks of the Graduate Admissions Committee’s decision.
