Program Description

The Criminal Justice program offers a broad, biblically-integrated education in law, criminal justice, political science, sociology, psychology, ethics, and public sector administration. It prepares students for careers in several fields including juvenile and adult services; prison, probation, parole, and community supervision service; as well as law enforcement at all levels of government.

Program Requirements

The major requirements consist of 55 semester hours, including 31 hours of core requirements, 12 hours in one of three concentrations, and 12 hours of electives. More information, including a suggested 4-year plan, is available in the online catalog.

Forensic Science

This is an undergraduate interdisciplinary degree program with an emphasis on advanced (upper-level) coursework and substantial laboratory work in the sciences. Students completing this program will also earn a minor in criminal justice and participate in an internship in a state crime laboratory their junior and senior years. This program is provided in partnership with the science and mathematics department. For requirements and other information see the online catalog.
