Your arrival at Cedarville is not far away, and you will soon be enjoying our beautiful dining hall and other dining options. As you prepare to join the University family, it’s time to think about your meal plan options. Cedarville University and Pioneer College Caterers offer a selection of meal plan options. The flexibility of these plans is designed to serve the varied needs of the Cedarville student body. Below are the plans that are available fall 2024 through spring 2025.
Group A – $2,219 Per Semester ($4,438 for the year)
- The 21-Meal Option
- 21 meals each week in any Pioneer-operated dining venue*
- Unlimited exchange meals at any Pioneer-operated dining venue* (counted in place of a dining hall meal)
- Includes $125 in dining dollars that can be used at any Pioneer-operated venue* plus Rinnova
- The Block 220 Meal Option
- 220 meals per semester (out of 330 available)
- Unlimited exchange meals at any Pioneer-operated dining venue* (counted in place of a dining hall meal)
- Includes $125 in dining dollars that can be used at any Pioneer-operated venue* plus Rinnova
- Ability to scan up to four guests in the dining hall per meal
Group B – $2,046 Per Semester ($4,092 for the year)
- The 14-Meal Option
- 14 meals each week at any Pioneer-operated dining venue*
- Unlimited exchange meals at any Pioneer-operated dining venue* (counted in place of a dining hall meal)
- Includes $125 in dining dollars that can be used at any Pioneer-operated venue* plus Rinnova
- The Block 180 Meal Option
- 180 meals per semester (out of 330 available)
- Unlimited exchange meals at any Pioneer-operated dining venue* (counted in place of a dining hall meal)
- Includes $125 in dining dollars that can be used at any Pioneer-operated venue* plus Rinnova
- Ability to scan in up to four guests in the dining hall per meal
Commuter – $1,465 Per Semester ($2,930 for the year)
- The Block 120 Meal Option
- 120 meals per semester (out of 330 available)
- Unlimited exchange meals at any Pioneer-operated dining venue* (counted in place of a dining hall meal)
- Includes $125 in dining dollars that can be used at any Pioneer-operated venue* plus Rinnova.
- Ability to scan in up to four guests in the dining hall per meal
- The Commuter meal plan is not a selection in myCU. For off-campus students, approval must be verified by the Cashiers Office. Please send your request to The Cashiers Office.
- All commuter meal plans will be processed by the cashiers. Please allow sufficient time for these charges to be reflected on your invoice. Student teachers, off-campus interns, nursing students involved in clinical practice, and any others must have their advisor send recommendation by email to the cashiers for approval.

Special Notes
- Add or update plans go to: myCU > Select a meal plan.
- Meal plans cannot be changed after 5 p.m. the first Friday of classes.
- Unused meals are not transferable from one semester to the next.
- Block Plans: Each scanned entry (including guest scans) into the dining hall counts against your meal count, whether for a meal or a snack.
- Based on 15 weeks.
- The above meal plans only apply to the fall and spring terms.
Flex Dollars
- These are funds loaded to the student’s ID card that can be used at any Pioneer-operated dining venue plus Rinnova.
- Flex dollars may be purchased online through Pioneer Caterers, Inc. They may also be purchased in the Cashiers Office the first week of school or at the dining hall offices throughout the semester.
- If you purchase $10–$99 in flex dollars, you will have an additional 10% of your purchase amount added to your card. (A $50 purchase equals $55 available for use.)
- If you purchase $100 or more in flex dollars, you will have an additional 20% of your purchase amount added to your card. (A $100 purchase equals $120 available for use.)
- Flex dollars roll over from fall semester to spring semester and expire at the end of each academic year. (Dining dollars expire at the end of each semester.)
Dining Venues
- Dining Hall — The main dining area for students is located on the upper level of the Stevens Student Center and features multiple food options at each meal in a spacious setting with beautiful views of Cedar Lake.
- Panda Express — Panda Express is located on the lower level of the Stevens Student Center near the Post Office and Campus Store.
- Grab + Go — Grab + Go pre-made meals are available for lunch inside the Center for Biblical and Theological Studies and the main dining hall.
- Chick-fil-A — Chick-fil-A is located in a spacious two-story facility adjacent to Centennial Library.
- The Cafe — Offering fresh flatbreads, power bowls, quesadillas, sandwiches, and bagels, The Cafe is found on the first floor of the Scharnberg Business and Communication Center.
- Tossed — Tossed is located alongside Chick-fil-A and features custom-made salads and wraps along with pizza and soup menu options.
- Rinnova — The student-run coffee shop is located just inside the lower entrance to the Stevens Student Center.
