Editorial Reviews
From the Back Cover
Rooted is a great primer on the basics of Christian theology--presented in a way that is fresh, accessible, and concise. A great introduction for new believers and a great refresher for those who need to remember why the gospel really is good news." - Trevin Wax, Managing Editor of The Gospel Project
"The moment you say or think anything about God, you're doing theology. Satan knows more theology than you, but he hates what he knows. And he hates seeing you forget about yourself to gaze on your God. In Rooted, Medders and Smith take us by the hand to show us not just theology's importance, but its beauty. Best of all, you can hear them worshiping as they write. I pray you'll worship as you read." - Matt Smethurst, Managing Editor of The Gospel Coalition

- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2016An easy to read, informative, and scripture based overview of Christian theology. Having just finished this book, I am excited to consider this work a great resource in discussing basic Christian beliefs with new and young believers. I have been involved with Young Life and youth ministry for a long time, and this book is a great way to walk with new believers through a lot of topics with clarity that many have trouble comprehending, let alone explaining to someone else. And it was a great read for myself as well. I found it quite refreshing to go through the basics of living life with Jesus, especially the subject of our future resurrection and what awaits us with Christ's return.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2024I liked this book because it was not as “colored,” or biased as many evangelical books are in our current market.
This is a very basic, simple (don’t confuse that as being shallow) explanation of the trots of Christian faith.
