About the BS or BA in Chemistry Degree
Why Study Chemistry at Cedarville?
Cedarville offers two degrees in chemistry, both taught from a biblical worldview: a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS). You'll be able to choose between the two depending on your career goals:
- The BA in chemistry will prepare you for careers in health professions, technical business professions, and other science-related vocations.
- The BS in chemistry will prepare you for graduate study in chemistry and for careers in industry or research. You'll receive training in each of the primary areas of chemistry with the necessary support in mathematics, physics, and biology.
Whichever option you choose, you will learn to look at science as a means to understand both creation and how it reflects the traits and capabilities of its Creator. Through Cedarville's chemistry programs, you'll discover how to use your vocation, wherever God leads you, to glorify Him and make a positive impact for Christ.
