Auditions and Scholarships

All undergraduate students who apply and audition for the Department of Music and Worship with the intent to major in music are eligible to receive a music scholarship. Outstanding students pursuing a music degree that will enroll as full-time students will be recommended for music scholarships based on their performance ability and the needs of the department.

To receive a music scholarships, student must:

  1. Apply to Cedarville
  2. Apply to and audition for the Department of Music and Worship
  3. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA)
  4. Pursue a music degree

Notification of Scholarships

The University will notify students about their financial aid status. If a student is selected to receive a music scholarship, the Department of Music and Worship will notify him or her and request a response to verify acceptance of the scholarship. As a courtesy, the Department will also contact students who do not receive scholarships.
