Cost and Financial Aid for Prepharmacy and Pharm.D.

Undergraduate Prepharmacy

The six or seven-year pharmacy curriculum involves two segments, prepharmacy (two or three years undergraduate) and advanced professional (four years). Consequently, students pay tuition rates based on their level in the program.

Students enrolled in the Prepharmacy program pay "undergraduate block tuition," i.e., an amount allowing them to take between 12 and 17 credits. Prepharmacy courses (those with a PPHR designator) may be taken as a part of this block and are covered by the undergraduate block tuition charge.  

Prepharmacy students are eligible for the scholarships available to all undergraduate students. These scholarships may be used for the first four years of the seven year curriculum, i.e., Prepharmacy plus the first professional year. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

Pharm.D.-level students typically rely upon three sources of financial aid for their professional education: scholarships (please contact the School of Pharmacy for more information), loans, and employment. More information regarding loans are available on our Graduate Loan Information page.

Cedarville University graduate tuition rates are the same for residents and non-residents of Ohio. Graduate tuition rates are reviewed and adjusted annually. Tuition rates are effective from fall semester of the current year through summer term of the following year.
