Dr. Jerry White will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Thursday, September 1, in the Dixon Ministry Center.
White is the senior pastor of Casey Creek Church in Chesnee, South Carolina – the same church his father pastored in the 1970s. He is also the former president of the South Carolina Baptist Pastors’ Conference, and currently serves as a trustee for LifeWay Christian Resources, one of the world’s largest Christian resource providers.
White accepted God’s call to pastoral ministry at age 13 at Piedmont Baptist Church in South Carolina. Later that year, he preached his first sermon and has been pastoring churches since he was 20.
White has preached for more than 325 revivals in 16 states and three different countries. Last year, he was honored for his 50 years in ministry by a lifelong friend who dedicated a new church in Kenya to him.
