FBFA Conference Wraps Up Thursday
Conference will feature Ken Ham, president and CEO of Answers in Genesis.
Leaders from the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship Association (FBFA) will participate in a four-day conference at Cedarville University beginning this Sunday. The conference is July 8-12 and includes a keynote address from Ken Ham, president and CEO of Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and the Ark Encounter.
Registration on Sunday, July 8 will be at First Baptist Church of London beginning at 8:30 a.m. On Monday, participants can register in the Dixon Ministry Center at Cedarville University beginning at 8 a.m.
A wide-range of topics are scheduled for the conference, including cultural sensitivity as a means to evangelism and worship; who is my neighbor?; and principles for developing a multi-ethnic leadership team. Dr. Patrick Oliver, associate professor of criminal justice, will present on police-community relations, while Dr. Thomas White will present at a general session on Tuesday, July 10 at 9 am.
The conference will include a picnic on Sunday, July 8, and a women's and men's luncheon. The women's luncheon will be held at the Mills Park Hotel in Yellow Springs at 1 p.m. on July 9, while the men's luncheon is slated for 1 p.m. on July 10. Jessi Dyson and Dr. Janice Supplee, vice president of marketing and communication, will speak at the women's luncheon; Bill Randolph and Bobby Hile, pastor at Southgate Baptist Church in Springfield, will speak at the men's event.
Ham has created one of America's major tourist attractions with the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in northern Kentucky. He is one of the most in-demand Christian speakers in North America, and he was the 2016 speaker at the National Religious Broadcasters convention.
Other keynote speakers include Dr. Charles Ware, president of Crossroads Bible College, a biblically conservative evangelical institution dedicated to training Christian leaders to reach multi-ethnic urban America for Christ.
