“Prayer” Author Speaking at Chapel

John Onwuchekwa, lead pastor at Cornerstone Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and an author with 9Marks, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Chapel begins at 10 a.m.
Onwuchekwa is the author of “Prayer: How Praying Together Shapes the Church,” part of the 9Marks series of books. He is also a council member of The Gospel Coalition.
Onwuchekwa was born in Nigeria, but grew up in Houston, Texas. He earned a Master of Arts degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has served churches in Texas and Georgia and moved to Atlanta in 2015 to help plant Cornerstone Church. He married his wife, Shawndra, in 2007, and they have one daughter, Ava.
