Senior Pastor at The Chapel Speaking at Cedarville
Tim Armstrong is an alumnus and Cedarville trustee.
Tim Armstrong, senior pastor at The Chapel in Akron, Ohio, and a trustee of Cedarville University, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Thursday, Nov. 8. Chapel begins at 10 a.m.
In 2014, Armstrong became the fifth senior pastor of The Chapel at Akron. The Chapel has five campuses, with a combined attendance of more than 5,000 people.
Along with his pastoral duties, Armstrong speaks for the radio program “The Worthy Walk.”
Before serving as senior pastor at The Chapel, Armstrong founded Crossroads Community Church in Mansfield, Ohio. Since its founding, Crossroads has become the largest growing congregation in the Richland County area. It currently ministers to more than 2,000 people.
Armstrong is a Cedarville alumnus. He earned a preseminary degree from Cedarville and his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas.
