9Marks Speaker Greg Gilbert Speaking in Chapel

Greg Gilbert, senior pastor of Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Chapel begins at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.
Gilbert earned a bachelor's degree from Yale University, where he felt a strong call to Christian ministry. After Yale, Gilbert earned his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is the author of “What Is The Gospel?” (Crossway, 2010), “Who Is Jesus” (Crossway, 2015) and co-author with Kevin De Young of “What Is the Mission of the Church?” (Crossway, 2011) and “Preach: Theology Meets Practice” (B&H Publishing Group, 2012).
Gilbert is a plenary speaker for the annual 9Marks Pastors Conference taking place at Cedarville University Oct. 29-30.
Along with Gilbert, the conference will host eight speakers, including Dr. Thomas White, president of Cedarville University; Mark Vroegop, lead pastor of College Park Church in Indianapolis; Jonathan Leeman, editorial director of 9Marks; and Dr. Jeremy Kimble, director of Cedarville’s Center for Biblical Integration and associate professor of theology.
