Entrepreneurship Accelerator Leader to Speak

Dick Blanc, executive director of the new Entrepreneur Accelerator program at Cedarville University, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Thursday, Sept. 19. Chapel begins at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.
The Entrepreneur Accelerator enables students to launch independent startup companies and provides skills and experience to lead a startup function in existing companies by creating new products or pursuing new markets.
The accelerator focuses on learning by doing. Students can earn college credit while founding, funding and scaling a startup company. Company-sponsored, on-campus internships and projects will also be available for interested students.
Blanc, a 1982 graduate of Cedarville, is a former managing partner with Accenture, LLP and adviser to multiple Fortune Global 500 and startup companies. Today, he is an active seed stage investor and adviser to founders of several startup companies.
He and his wife, Cyndi, have four children and live in Carrollton, Texas. Blanc is a 1982 graduate of Cedarville University.
