Puppies Make a "Pawsitive" Impact During Finals Week

The last week of the semester is full of stress-inducing exams, papers and projects for college students. But in the midst of this “ruff” week, students have the opportunity to unwind with a group of furry friends.

On Thursday, May 2, K9s at the ’Ville, a student organization at Cedarville University, will partner with 4 Paws For Ability to bring puppies on campus. The event will be held in the lower level of the Stevens Student Center from noon to 2 p.m.

During this annual event, students can take a “paws” from studying for final exams to play with puppies. The 4 Paws puppies also benefit from the human interaction as they learn how to socialize.

4 Paws For Ability is a nonprofit organization in Xenia, Ohio, that trains service dogs to aid veterans and children with special needs. K9s at the ’Ville partners with the nonprofit throughout the year to help socialize, train and place service dogs.
