Army Chaplain Speaking in Chapel
Captain Jose Rondon experienced a revival on his base in 2018.
Rondon, originally from Venezuela, came to faith in Christ in the 1990s through the ministry of an International Mission Board missionary. In 2010, Rondon became a U.S. citizen. He earned his bachelor’s degree from North Greenville University, then a master's and doctoral degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined the military in 2011 with hopes of becoming a chaplain.
Rondon’s base was in the midst of a spiritual revival in 2018, a journey he shared publicly on Facebook. Rondon shared his personal testimony and posted videos of soldiers worshipping God.
Nearly 2,000 total troops came to salvation within six months.
