Exclusive Agreement Gives Ministry Students Added Pathway to Service
Partnership with Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) will provide an MBA option that can be completed with the SEBTS Master of Divinity degree.
The agreement takes effect immediately. Students can register for the combined program at Cedarville.edu/SEBTS.
According to the agreement, Cedarville will offer preferred admission, pricing and course transfer opportunities to students enrolled in SEBTS’s MDiv program who desire to add an MBA to their educational plan and ministry preparation. Through Cedarville’s school of business administration, students will benefit from a flexible, accredited and online MBA program that is taught from a biblical worldview and focuses on excellence in personal standards and discernment, stewardship of God-given talents and resources, leadership with a servant’s heart and kingdom influence through serving others.

Enrolled students will complete Cedarville’s general MBA, but will have the option to add one of five MBA specializations, including business analytics, cybersecurity management, healthcare administration, innovation and entrepreneurship and operations management, if they desire.
“We are pleased to offer students from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary a pathway to adding an MBA degree with their Master of Divinity,” said Thomas White, president of Cedarville University. “This partnership will equip leaders who bring both outstanding theological training and excellent business skills to their ministry setting.”
To enroll, SEBTS students will complete an abbreviated online application. The application fee will be waived for these enrolling students. Each applicant will be admitted to the Cedarville program pending confirmation by the SEBTS registrar that each student is enrolled in good standing, has completed an undergraduate degree, has completed a minimum of 18 credit hours at SEBTS and holds a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
“This partnership with Cedarville University will enable us to equip men and women whom God has called to serve him in the workplace and business,” said Danny Aiken, president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. “I am excited about how God will prepare a new army of servants for gospel advance through this joint venture between our two excellent schools.”
