Kentucky State Professor Speaking in Chapel
Dr. Kevin Jones will speak in chapel on Tuesday, Feb. 25, and Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Jones is the co-editor of the book “Removing the Stain of Racism from the Southern Baptist Convention: Diverse African American and White Perspectives.” He is also a contributor to “Perspectives on Family Ministry (Second Edition).”
Jones is currently writing “Race Unraveled,” a biography of the late Dr. T. Vaughn Walker, the first African-American faculty member in the Southern Baptist Convention.
Jones is a graduate of KSU. He holds his doctorate in educational leadership from Spalding University.
He is a research fellow for the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention and is an adjunct professor for The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
