Cedarville Stories Podcast: Worldwide Worldview
This week from the Cedarville Stories podcast archives, we are reintroduced to a man who transformed Cedarville’s international studies program.
Dr. Frank Jenista, former professor of international studies, was the son of missionary parents. He attended 13 schools in 12 years before finishing his secondary education at an American high school in New Jersey. At Cedarville, he found a supportive and caring community of faculty and friends who inspired him to seek the Lord and discover His plans for his life. Those plans would include service as a U.S. diplomat.
After his career, Frank returned to Cedarville where he applied his global perspective to the university’s international studies program. He helped build and grow a highly successful major with students who are now serving all over the world, including in the U.S. Foreign Service.
Dr. Jenista also coached Cedarville’s Model United Nations team into a consistent Outstanding Delegation winner at the National Model United Nations competition in New York City. Lastly, he encouraged Cedarville schools and departments to think globally through study abroad and internship opportunities.
