Mixing caffeine and gasoline may be an interesting combination, but that’s what will take place at the annual car show sponsored by the International Center for Creativity (ICC) in Dublin, Ohio. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, takes place on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
The ICC is located at 4675 Lakehurst Court in Dublin. Attendees can view many impressive cars and enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts.
“It's a fun way to gather part of the classic, sport and collector car hobby at our facilities in Dublin,” said Jim Stevenson, president of the ICC.
In past years, the cars on display ranged from classic Corvettes to the first Ferrari Portofinos in the country. Several other vintage and exotic cars will be on display.
Cedarville University and the International Center for Creativity partner to deliver a leading industrial and innovative design degree program to students. The curriculum is exclusive to Cedarville students, and the partnership allows the students to earn their general education credits on the Cedarville campus in Cedarville, Ohio, before taking the final two years of intensive industrial and innovative design courses at the ICC.
In addition to offering the only industrial and innovative design program at a private Christian university, the ICC has a special interest in the design and manufacturing of cars and transportation design. The car show is one of many opportunities for students to sharpen their education by looking at various car designs throughout American history.
