Currently, with each indictment, Trump’s favorable numbers among Republican voters only increase. Could this trend continue in a general election if Trump becomes the GOP candidate for president?
Dr. Mark Caleb Smith, director of the Center for Political Studies at Cedarville University, tells CBN News reporter Hiliary Powell that he believes Trump’s desire is to fan the flame of his indictments to not only motivate his large base of supporters but to also taint the pool of potential jurors in future trials.
