Garrett Kell, lead pastor at Del Ray Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia, will speak in Cedarville University chapel on Thursday, November 12, as part of the 9Marks Pastors Conference, which is being hosted by the University.
Kell has served at Del Ray Baptist since 2012 and previously served as the senior pastor at Graham Bible Church in Graham, Texas, and Capitol Hills Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.
He is a regular contributor to The Gospel Coalition, 9Marks and For The Church – programs that provide Gospel-centered resources that are pastoral, practical and devotional to churches. He composes forthright articles on current social, political and biblical issues.
A native of West Virginia, Kell earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Virginia Tech in 2000 and a master’s in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.
He and his wife, Carrie, have four children, Eden, Haddon, Phoebe and Graham.
