Dr. Joe Boot, founder of the Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity (EICC), will speak at Cedarville University’s chapel service on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Born in the United Kingdom, Boot served with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries as an apologist for seven years in Oxford, England and Toronto.
He has spoken at universities, churches and conferences in 25 countries, including events at Oxford University and Forman University in Pakistan.
In 2011, he was named by Toronto’s Centre for Mentorship and Theological Reflection as Best Preacher Apologist for his international contribution to apologetic and expository preaching.
Boot also serves as the general editor of the EICC’s journal, Jubilee, and is the founder and chancellor for Westminster Classical Christian Academy in Toronto.
He is also the author of several books on Christian apologetics.
Boot received his bachelor’s degree from Birmingham Christian College and his master’s degree from the University of Manchester. He also holds a doctorate from Whitefield College and Theological Seminary in Lakeland, Florida.
He lives in Toronto with his wife, Jenny, and their three children: Naomi, Hannah, and Isaac.
