Chip Ingram, founder of Living on the Edge, will speak in Cedarville University’s chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Living on the Edge began as a radio ministry 20 years ago and has since blossomed into an international discipleship ministry. Living on the Edge seeks to create biblical teaching and tools that challenge and equip spiritually hungry Christians to become mature disciples of Jesus.
Ingram’s teaching reaches more than a million people a week through podcasts, as well as hundreds of radio and television outlets around the world. Ingram, in addition to his radio ministry, serves as the senior pastor of Venture Christian Church in Los Gatos, California.
An accomplished author, Ingram has written 15 books and multiple small group studies. He is also the co-founder of PrimeMovers, a program which helps Christian leaders develop their ministry.
Additionally, Ingram served as the president and CEO of Walk Thru the Bible Ministries from 2003-2007.
He completed his undergraduate studies at West Liberty State University before earning his master’s degree in education from West Virginia University. He also holds a master’s in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Ingram and his wife, Theresa, reside in Los Gatos and have four children and 10 grandchildren.
