A teaching veteran with nearly a decade of experience, Kuyatt most recently served as an assistant professor of instructional technology and Blackboard administrator at Clearwater Christian College. He received his doctorate from Regent University and has a master’s degree in human anatomy from the University of Maryland-Baltimore.
“After teaching many years face to face, I wanted to be able to instruct others on the best ways to develop courses and teach students,” Kuyatt said.
The Center for Teaching and Learning works with faculty to develop online courses, incorporate hybrid teaching formats and use technology effectively in a classroom setting. The center aids professors in Moodle integration, web design and video presentation, while also offering opportunities for professional development through workshops.
“If you are a good teacher, students tend to be good learners,” said Kuyatt. “At any stage of life there is something all of us can learn in order to excel.”
“Cedarville’s online courses are of very high quality,” he said. “We’re dedicated to that continuing that excellence as we work with the faculty here.”
