Scott Klusendorf, speaker, author and founder of the Life Training Institute (LTI), Colorado Springs, Colo., will speak in Cedarville University chapel August 25-26.
LTI’s mission is to defend the sanctity of human life by preparing people to engage American culture with pro-life activism. Through LTI, Klusendorf seeks to train pro-life advocates to defend their view in the marketplace of ideas. He believes these views can be clearly defended and presented through modern media as well as live events and the publication of books and articles.
The institute bases its argument in science and philosophy, but also seeks to portray the Gospel of Jesus Christ through its work. Although the institute’s primary focus is within the United States, it often makes presentations around the world.
Klusendorf is the author of “The Case for Life: Equipping Christians to Engage the Culture” and is also the co-author of “Stand for Life: A Student’s Guide for Making the Case and Saving Lives.” He has also published articles on pro-life apologetics in The Christian Research Journal, Clear Thinking and Focus on the Family Citizen.
