Greg Gilbert, senior pastor of Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, and co-author of “The Gospel at Work: How Working for King Jesus Gives Purpose and Meaning to Our Jobs,” will serve as the speaker at Cedarville University’s chapel service on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Both Gilbert and co-author Sebastien Traeger will speak at the Gospel at Work Conference on campus at 7 p.m. that evening.
Gilbert is the author of several popular Christian books including “What Is the Gospel?,” “James: A 12-Week Study,” “Who Is Jesus?” and is the co-author of the book “What Is the Mission of the Church?” with Kevin DeYoung.
He is also a regular contributor for 9Marks Ministries and Crossway Books.
Gilbert earned his B.A. from Yale University and his M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Moriah, have three children, Justin, Jack and Juliet.
