Cedarville University’s Office of Admissions will open a newly renovated presentation room for prospective students and their families at the end of September. The 60-seat venue will be used to welcome prospective students through staff presentations and a 30-minute video that encapsulates the “Cedarville Experience.”
The new presentation room will effectively communicate the quality of a Cedarville education, showing guests that everything Cedarville does is marked with excellence. The updated design will showcase the Christ-centered community and education that Cedarville has to offer.
“This presentation is typically the first thing that people experience on campus. It is their first formative impression,” said Roscoe Smith, associate vice president for university admissions. “A more cutting-edge presentation will better represent Cedarville’s technological strengths for what we hope is a compelling experience for our guests.
The new presentation room will feature three 65” flat-screen televisions for an innovative multimedia presentation. Along with new lights, carpeting and painting, the room will boldly display the Cedarville blue and gold colors, the yellow jacket mascot and campus photos.
“We hope that the new room will help us effectively communicate the mission of Cedarville University to our guests,” said Brian Fanelli, associate director of admissions, guest services. “We want guests to understand that everything we do is stamped with excellence.”
Campus guests who visit the new presentation room will learn about Cedarville University’s distinct qualities, from its Christ-centered focus to its rigorous academic programs.
Located in southwest Ohio, Cedarville University is an accredited, Christ-centered, Baptist institution with an enrollment of 3,711 undergraduate, graduate and online students in more than 100 areas of study.
