Cedarville University is one of the best Christian colleges in the nation according to Christian Universities Online (CUO). The independent online resource ranked Cedarville as the ninth best Christian institution nationally and the best in Ohio.
Colleges and universities were evaluated by CUO and ranked based on student-to-faculty ratio, admittance rates, financial aid, retention rates and graduation rates.
With a student-to-faculty ratio of 13-to-1, Cedarville shows a strong commitment to providing a quality student experience and academic excellence. The university’s retention rate of 85 percent is 15 percent higher than the national average, and its 72 percent graduation rate also exceeds the national average.
CUO also placed value on Cedarville University’s affordability. According to university data, 99 percent of full-time undergraduate students receive scholarships and grants.
“This ranking seeks to highlight intentionally Christian colleges and universities that excel in categories of personal attention to their students,” said Anna-Rebekah Orr, associate editor of CUO. “Selectivity, readily available financial aid and overall student satisfaction are important elements in the college process.”
