Dr. Al Mohler, president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on April 12, 2017.
Mohler hosts a popular radio program, “The Briefing,” a daily analysis of news and current events from a Christian worldview, and “Thinking in Public,” a series of conversations with today’s leading thinkers. He also maintains a blog that is a commentary on moral, cultural and theological issues.
Mohler has been quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and many other nationally recognized newspapers. He has appeared on national news programs on CNN, NBC, ABC, PBS, MSNBC and Fox News.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, Mohler received his master’s and doctoral degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also studied at the Saint Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana and has conducted research at the University of Oxford in England.
Mohler is the author of several books including “Culture Shift: Engaging Current Issues with Timeless Truth” and “Desire & Deceit: The Real Cost of the New Sexual Tolerance.”
