Cedarville University’s School of Pharmacy will partner with the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy and Wright State School of Medicine on Friday, October 13 at the University of Cincinnati, to provide professional development for health care students, alumni and preceptors from all three universities.
Nationally recognized author and speaker Dr. Tim Elmore is the keynote speaker. Breakout sessions will offer insights on how to lead in a multigenerational workplace.
Elmore is an expert on Generations Y and Z. He is the founder and president of Growing Leaders, a nonprofit leadership training and development organization that offers events and resources to empower the next generation to flourish as leaders. Elmore has authored more than 25 books and speaks at events and conferences all over the world.
The Generations in the Workplace event will begin at 5 p.m. and will include dinner, Elmore’s presentation, breakout sessions and dessert with a book signing. Participants will also have a chance to network with healthcare professionals and will receive a certificate of participation when the event concludes at 10 p.m.
Cedarville is excited to invest in the region’s future health professionals and their contributions to the workplace.
“Everything we do in health care is collaborative,” said Dr. Marc Sweeney, dean of the school of pharmacy. “Events like this are especially important because they foster a collaborative culture in the health care environment.”
