Students majoring in industrial and innovative design (IID) at Cedarville University spend their junior and senior years at the International Center for Creativity (ICC) in Columbus, Ohio, working on projects that can have a real-world impact. These students will showcase their work at a special open house on Friday, May 3.
The event will take place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at ICC, which is located at 4675 Lakehurst Ct., Dublin, OH 43016.
Attendees can look forward to seeing the unique work of students in the IID program, whose projects fall into three major categories of design: consumer product design, such as sporting equipment and electronics; architectural space design, which is interior and exterior design; and transportation design, such as cars and emergency vehicles.
Cedarville’s IID program is one of the top in the nation due to its excellence and career-earning power and is the leading program among Christian universities in the United States. This reputation has garnered partnerships for the ICC with industry leaders such as Chick-fil-A and The Creation Museum. These high-level associations allow students to provide these companies with innovative designs, creative ideas for maximum efficiency and stunning plans for visual presentation.
Those who plan to attend the open house and student exhibit can RSVP at the ICC website.
