Spring Break Details and Mission Trips

It’s time to start thinking about spring break plans! As we approach the midway point of the semester, here’s some info for you and your student to keep in mind:

As a reminder, spring break is March 1–9, with classes resuming on Monday, March 10. Make sure your student has secured a ride home. Your student can register for shuttle transportation to and from the Dayton International Airport here.

Residence halls will remain open for students staying on campus, but all dining options will be closed.

• The Dining Hall will close Friday, February 28, at 2:30 p.m. and reopen Monday, March 10, at 7 a.m.
• Chick-fil-A, Tossed, Panda Express, and The Cafe will close Friday, February 28, at 2 p.m. and reopen Monday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m. 

Multiple Global Outreach teams are scheduled to go on mission trips during spring break! Students and faculty will be traveling to Peru, Mexico, Salt Lake City, Guatemala, Boston, and a variety of other areas around the world with deep needs for the Gospel. Please pray for safe travels, that the people they serve will be open to the message of the Gospel, and that the hosts would be blessed by their presence.

The Global Outreach team going to London asks for prayer specifically, as Grace Maxwell, one of the team members, was among the passengers killed in the American Airlines crash on January 29. We pray that the Lord will use her story for His glory on the London trip.
