Career Fairs Help Students Land First Job
Thursday, March 18, 2021
Cedarville University is committed to preparing students for vocational distinction. We want our graduates to not just find jobs, but to find positions that allow them to glorify God by using the gifts and talents He has given them.
Our Career Services office is available from day one to help students accomplish this. From choosing a major, to writing the perfect resume, to preparing for a job interview, your student will find help every step of the way.
Each year, Career Services hosts several career fairs, bringing hundreds of businesses and organizations to campus to interact with our students. Even with COVID-19 this year, Career Services didn't miss the chance to provide networking opportunities for our students, holding two virtual career fairs instead.
Companies return each year and actively seek out our graduates because of their career preparation, high-level integrity, and incredible work ethic. Our recent First Destination Survey results for the class of 2020 affirm this – 96.9% of Cedarville graduates were employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation, even in the midst of a pandemic. Our three-year average placement rate is 97.9% (2018: 98.3%, 2019: 98.5%, 2020: 96.9%).
If your student has been accepted for fall 2021, be sure to pay your reservation deposit to secure his or her spot in the incoming freshman class.
