Academic Structure
In all lists (website, catalog, etc.), we will only identify Schools. Sub-units (whether they are departments or groupings of programs) will be identified only by academic subject area as noted below. This is the official list as of July 2023.

* Academic sub-unit identified with "department of" when referenced independently from the full list.
Schools may contain "Departments" (typically led by a Chair) and groupings of "Programs" (may be led by an asst./assoc. dean or program coordinator).
For academic "sub-units" that are groupings of programs, and not official departments or entities, if it's helpful / necessary, those areas should be identified with the word "programs." This usage will be infrequent, but may be helpful in mission statements, the catalog, or website descriptions.
