Institutional Research
The mission of the Office of Institutional Research (IR) is to provide university-level information to promote organizational understanding at Cedarville University in support of the University Mission and to support data-driven decision-making for administrative and academic operations for the efficient and effective use of resources. IR coordinates reporting requirements for internal and external constituents, including completion of the following:
- IPEDS surveys
- College Board, Peterson’s, U.S. News, Princeton Review, and numerous other reports and surveys
- Annual Factbook
- Measurement of Student Outcomes through the reporting of Enrollment/Persistence, Degrees Conferred, Retention Rates, Graduation Rates, Student Diversity, Student Engagement, and Career Outcomes
- Student evaluations of courses through CoursEval
- Student satisfaction surveys, including the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Ruffalo Noel Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI)
