Cedarville University is a private, Christ-centered institution of higher education that transforms lives through excellent education and intentional discipleship in submission to biblical authority. While University property is generally open to the public, we ask that guests act within the guidelines provided:
- Treat everyone on campus with kindness and respect.
- Follow the instructions of any Campus Security Officer or University employee.
- Parents and/or legal guardians are fully responsible for their child(ren)’s behavior at all times, including their safety and any financial liability for damages or injuries caused by their child(ren) to persons or property.
- Children on University property who have not completed 5th grade must be under direct (line-of-sight) supervision by a parent, legal guardian, or an approved caregiver over the age of 15.
- The possession, sale, purchase, use, and/or consumption of alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, recreational drugs, and/or drug paraphernalia is strictly prohibited.
- The possession of firearms, live ammunition, explosive devices, pellet or BB guns, airsoft guns, paintball guns, bows and arrows, knives with blades over 3½ inches, and wrist-rocket slingshots is prohibited on University property without prior authorization from the University.
- All individuals are required to use the restroom and/or locker room that corresponds to their sex identified at birth.
- Demonstrations, solicitations, or distributions on University property are prohibited unless prior written approval is obtained from the University’s Student Life Division.
While University property is generally open to the public, the University reserves the right to restrict access and may issue a no trespass order to prohibit specific individuals and/or groups from entering University property.

“Guest(s)” refers to any individual on campus who is not an employee or student of Cedarville University, including, but not limited to, visitors and all employees of contractors or subcontractors performing work on University property.
