Mary Powell, MPA

Biography

Mary Powell joined Cedarville's faculty in 2024. She worked in general surgery/surgical oncology at University of Cincinnati Medical Center for almost five years and has been working in clinical cardiology at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati since 2021.

Why Cedarville?

My desire as a high school student was to attend a Christian college, and when I discovered Cedarville, I was amazed at their commitment to the Word of God and academic excellence! Although my hope and plan was to attend Cedarville, the Lord closed the door at that time. However, my husband (who I was dating at the time) attended Cedarville for three years, and so I was able to visit campus and see the impact of a Christ-centered education. When Cedarville started their PA Program years later, I was excited to support the program, which I have done peripherally over the last four years. I am beyond thrilled to join the PA Program as a part-time faculty member, and I look forward to what the Lord has in store!
