Assistant Professor of Applied Theology

Biography

Jeremy Oliver has had the privilege of serving as an Assistant Professor of Applied Theology at Cedarville University since 2022. Before joining Cedarville, he spent fifteen years in pastoral ministry and secondary Christian education.

Jeremy's academic journey has been shaped by his deep interest in the care of souls throughout church history. This passion was developed as he earned degrees in History (B.A. from Indiana University and M.A. from Valparaiso University) and a Master of Divinity from Faith Bible Seminary. He is currently completing his Ph.D. dissertation at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Beyond his academic roles, Jeremy serves as a Council Member for the Biblical Counseling Coalition, a consultant with Soul Care Consulting, and holds certification in biblical counseling through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).
