Lynn Roper, PhD
Assistant Professor of Special EducationBiography
Prior to coming to Cedarville University, Dr. Roper taught students with mild to moderate disabilities in a public inner-city middle school in Kentucky, where she worked both as a co-teacher in the regular education classroom in addition to teaching in a resource room. She had the opportunity to collaborate with all subject areas, providing differentiated instructional support and consulting on intervention needs. Interests
- Interests: I enjoy traveling with my husband, Kevin, whether it’s to California or to visit his family in Jamaica. Spending time with my family is an activity I always enjoy. I enjoy biking, exploring state and national parks, as well watching University of Kentucky football and basketball.
- Why I'm at Cedarville: I started teaching at Cedarville in 2010 three weeks after marrying my best friend and husband, Dr. Kevin Roper. Kevin has taught at Cedarville for more than 15 years, and this is a place that we can both teach and enjoy mentoring college students.
