How can I make the most of my dual enrollment/CCP credits?

Working closely with your Dual Enrollment advisor helps ensure the courses you take now will count toward your degree, saving you time later. Focusing on general education courses will offer more flexibility when you start your degree. Is graduating early right for me?

Graduating early offers several advantages, including saving on the cost of college, entering the workforce or graduate school sooner, and adding flexibility to your timeline. Whether you’re considering a gap year, missions work, or other opportunities, graduating early can allow you to pursue these without delaying your career.

Choosing to graduate early means that your Cedarville experience will look a bit different compared to spending a full 1000 Days on campus, so it's important to weigh these factors carefully and decide what works best for your goals and circumstances. Whatever you choose, you will be fully supported from admission to graduation!

How can I save money?

By graduating one semester early, you can save more than $18,000 on tuition. Graduating a year early can help you save more than $36,000. Plus, you’ll be able to start your career and begin earning a salary sooner, leading to an even greater return on investment.

Should I graduate early or pursue a double major?

If you’ve completed a significant number of credits, you may be deciding between graduating early or adding another major or minor. Each of these options offers unique benefits. A double major or minor opens doors for you to explore additional passions and expand your career opportunities. However, if saving time and money is a large priority for you, pursuing an early graduation may be the better choice.

Your academic advisor can help guide you through this decision. Whatever you choose, you’ll experience academic excellence and biblical integration in each course you take. And whenever you graduate, you’ll be prepared for career success and Kingdom impact.

Can I still have the full Cedarville experience if I graduate early?

While your experience will be more condensed compared to a traditional 1000 Days on campus, you’ll be fully immersed in Cedarville’s vibrant, Christian community for the time that you're on campus. You will experience the same academic excellence and biblical integration in each course. And, like every undergraduate student, you will complete a Bible minor, equipping you to stand firm for the Word of God as you begin your career.

Those who graduate a semester early can still walk with their class in May. If you graduate a full year early, you’ll walk with the current graduating class. After graduation, you’ll be able to stay connected with Cedarville by engaging with the Jackets for Life Alumni Association.
