Jeff grew up on the mission field. His parents were missionaries in Paraguay, South America. He attended Cedarville College starting in 1996. He took a break from college and worked as a Paramedic/Firefighter. He returned to Cedarville in 2001 and graduated in 2004. He graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine in 2010 and finished a residency in Emergency Medicine 2013. He currently practices in Dayton Ohio. He joined ABWE/Live Global and has been leading short term medical trips.

Ben Laur is the US Director of Recruitment at Avant Ministries. Before coming to Avant, Ben graduated from Moody Bible Institute, receiving a B.A. in Biblical Studies. After graduation, he worked as a youth pastor in West Michigan. Later, he attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he graduated with an MDiv. Following seminary, Ben served as an associate pastor of a church in the Kansas City area before joining Avant.

Travis helps churches advance their missions programs, screens new missionary applicants, oversees all missionaries on deputation and arranges short-term missions opportunities. He also administrates BMM's Enlistment Department and oversees the annual Candidate Seminar.

After hearing of the needs at Wright-Patt, they moved back to the U.S. in 2023 to establish a hospitality house there.

Kyle grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia. When he was seven years old his family moved to Manila, Philippines, where his parents served for two years as missionaries. In 2009 he met his amazing wife Christie and moved to Massachusetts. They served at Trinitarian Congregational Church (TCC) in Wayland, MA and Kyle worked for 10 years as the Pastor of Students and Outreach. During that time Christie completed her Master's degree in Northeastern’s Physician Assistant Program and now works at Boston Healthcare for the Homeless. Kyle also received his Master's of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Kyle and Christie are the parents of Laelah, Milo and Josiah (who, do to a genetic disorder, passed away a few days after his birth). In 2022, Kyle transitioned out of his role at TCC and joined Cafe 1040.

Rick and Jenny have been married for 41 years, they have three children and five grandchildren. Jenny is an RN and Rick is retired from the corporate business world where he worked for 30 years. God has provided them an opportunity to use their skills to serve others and glorify His name with Caring Partners International a nonprofit that equips churches with healthcare to share the Gospel. They organize and lead mission teams across the globe setting up free health clinics in churches where the physical and spiritual needs are addressed by their teams and the local churches where they serve. Their goal is to turn short-term journeys into long-term by equipping and building the church to be the anchor in their communities.

Rick and Carol Hudson have a passion for serving the Lord in missions. They celebrated forty-three years of missions service in June 2024. They have worked as church planters in Mexico, field and regional coordinators, and in leadership roles for three mission agencies. They currently minister with Fellowship International Mission where Rick is the Director of Pre-Field Ministries. Additionally, he ministers as a spokesperson and consultant for the cause of missions for churches, committees, and for individuals; as a coach/trainer of future missionary personnel; and as an instructor for those embarking on cross-cultural ministries.

In 2020, Jamie Smith became IBMGlobal’s second president after first serving for eight years as a pastor at Bethel Baptist Church in Parkersburg, WV and then as a missionary in Zambia, Africa for an additional eight years.
During the Smith’s three terms of service in Zambia they were directly involved with establishing four local churches. Those churches have continued to mature and send out more church planters that have resulted in nine 2nd generation churches thus far. During this time, Jamie also had the privilege of developing the missions program at Central Africa Baptist University that has produced more than 40 graduates with a minor in missions who now serve in a variety of roles across the continent of Africa.

Kris is a family doctor who served on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico for five years. then after getting some Bible training, she spent 24 years at a rural mission hospital in South Asia. She was country team leader there for Interserve, an interdenominational sending org founded in 1852 by women for women, and now works for the same agency as Midwest Coordinator for Mobilization and Member Care. She is from Minster, OH and is the oldest of 10 kids.

Rev. Doug Christgau served as outreach pastor in three churches from 1985-2019. During his tenure these churches have sent 40 long-term missionaries all over the world. Doug has led over 100 short-term mission trips in various U.S. cities and over 40 countries. “Making disciples” has been a key part of Doug’s impact in the context of sending long-term missionaries and leading short-term teams.
Doug is now the Global Ambassador for MedSend (MedSend.org), an agency that gets long-term medical missionaries to the field by paying their educational debt and keeps them on the field through member care specific to health care professionals. He visits campuses and conferences as a service of MedSend to health care students and professionals. He is married to Christine.

Butch and Lesi have been blessed to be in ministry for more than two decades serving in a variety of positions after leaving the business world. They are now serving in mission work. Butch's personal ministry experiences and positions include being the Director of the Short-Term Missions Program for Word of Life Fellowship and also the Information Technology Director for Word of Life. He and Lesi served as missionaries in Brazil with Word of Life and ministered to remote Amazon River tribal communities. He is currently serving as the Director of Development for MissionGO. He has had extensive international travel experience on over 80 trips to 25+ countries around the world and regularly speaks in Churches domestically and abroad. In 2022 their family moved to Colorado to care for Tracy's parents. Nelson grew up in a Christian family in Quebec, Canada, and accepted Christ as a young child. In his teen years he strayed away from God, but redevoted his life to Christ when he was 19 years old. Later, he attended Word of Life (WOL) Bible Institute in South Korea. During that year he grew so much and, after a mission trip to Thailand, he decided to become a full time missionary with WOL. While preparing to go, he met his wife Cheryl, who was also serving as a missionary. After spending some time getting his masters in Teaching English and raising support, he and Cheryl headed to Taiwan as missionaries. They stayed there for seven years working with English Discipleship programs. They are now in the USA to focus completely on leading the global English Café outreach.

Colin and Dianne teach missionary children at the Ukarumpa International School (UIS) in Papua New Guinea (PNG). UIS supports Bible translation by providing quality Christian education for the children of Bible translators and other support personnel. Colin teaches music (band, choir, high school music theory, and elementary music). Dianne teaches piano and accompanies choirs. Colin and Dianne began serving in PNG in 2003. In the past, they have also promoted vernacular scripture use through songwriting workshops with Papua New Guineans. In addition to their school responsibilities, they are taking a more active support role in the Guhu Samane Old Testament translation and New Testament revision project.
