Transfer President's Scholar Award
For new transfer students beginning Fall 2025, the University will offer the Transfer President's Scholar Award ranging from $12,000 to $19,000 per year based upon a transfer student's academic credentials. No separate application is required. Qualifying GPA information from other colleges attended must be submitted by July 31.
† Eligibility for Transfer President's Scholar Awards will be calculated once Cedarville has received official transcript(s) with letter grades for the equivalent of 12 or more semester credit hours for 100/1000 level or higher coursework.
Transfer Need-based Scholarships
Through generous gifts from our donors along with budgeted institutional funds, the University offers need-based aid to help cover students' unmet financial need. Completion of the 2025-26 FAFSA is required.

Scholarships which require a separate Cedarville application
The following scholarships have specific eligibility requirements. If you meet the eligibility requirements and choose to apply, make sure that you also pay attention to the application deadline.
President's Ministry Impact Scholarship. Celebrating Cedarville's strong support for the local church and those who invest their lives in full-time ministry, this scholarship is awarded to selected students whose parent is in full-time ministry and who demonstrate excellent Christian character and leadership abilities. An application is required.
Dr. Deforia Lane Kingdom Diversity Scholarship. The Dr. Deforia Lane Kingdom Diversity Scholarship is awarded annually to select undergraduate students seeking to enhance the Cedarville Community through their personal experience and appreciation for racial, ethnic, economic, and cultural diversity. An application is required.
Other Scholarships

Word of Life Transfer Scholarship. Transfer students who attend Word of Life Bible Institute may qualify for this grant.
Academic Program Scholarships are associated with select academic programs (Pharmacy, Music, Worship, ROTC, and others). These are awarded by faculty within each department.
Athletic Scholarships are awarded to top-performing athletes on an individual basis by the coaches.
Church Matching Scholarship match gifts that a church contributes to a student and demonstrate our passion to partner with local churches in equipping students for lifelong service.
Donor-Funded Scholarships. Scholarship requirements vary according to each donor's request. Award selection is made by the Executive Director of Financial Aid and/or a scholarship committee. Donor-funded scholarships may underwrite the funding of a student's existing academic or need-based aid or, in some cases, are awarded in addition to other institutional aid, depending on the wishes of the donor. Completion of the 2025-26 FAFSA is required.
Federal Aid. Federal aid includes grants, loans and student employment programs funded by the federal government.
Military Aid — Cedarville University offers extensive military aid options, including VA benefits, ROTC scholarships, and various grants, to support veterans, active duty, National Guard, and military dependents.

State Aid. State aid includes grant and loan programs funded by state governments.
Tuition Remission and Tuition Exchange Opportunities: Cedarville University offers tuition benefits to its full-time faculty, staff, and administrators and participates in the Tuition Exchange program sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges.
