Cedarville University, according to SmartAsset, a financial technology company located in New York, is one of the best values in higher education. Cedarville is ranked No. 8 in Ohio, just behind the University of Dayton.
To calculate the ranking, SmartAsset analyzed five factors: tuition, student living costs, scholarship and grant offerings, retention rate and starting salary.
According to SmartAsset, Cedarville University offers an average of $13,634 per student in scholarships and grants. Additionally, Cedarville’s 85 percent retention rate and average starting salary for graduates of $48,600 puts the university in a strong position in terms of value.
