Cedarville University’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA) has been ranked 10th in Ohio by Online MBA Today. The online ranking service noted Cedarville’s affordability, accreditation and prestige, as well as the average base salary of graduates.
Other notable universities in the top 10 include the University of Cincinnati, Kent State University, Xavier University and Wright State University.
Cedarville’s online Christian MBA program recently received full accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. The program is recognized for its continuous improvement, ensuring the MBA curriculum is current and adapts to a changing business landscape.
The university’s announcement last month of three new tracks within the MBA degree — master's in business analytics, master's in cybersecurity and MBA in innovation and entrepreneurship — is evidence of the program remaining relevant in the ever-changing business landscape. These new tracks, added this summer, are offered along with existing tracks: MBA in operations management and MBA in healthcare administration.
Undergirding a curriculum designed to adapt and flex to the needs of students is a solid foundation of instruction. “In our MBA program, we have adopted four core values: excellence, missional purpose, stewardship and servant’s heart, which have been incorporated as themes within each course,” noted John Delano, associate dean of graduate studies for the Cedarville University School of Business Administration.
“At a practical level, I will have students consider a specific scenario related to a course topic and have them address what a proper biblical response might be in light of one or more of the core values,” Delano continued. “Our MBA program approaches business from a distinctively biblical worldview. Each course is designed with biblical integration baked in, and not just sprinkled on top.”
