Dr. Murray Murdoch has been a steady and consistent voice for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ at Cedarville for 55 years. He has inspired students, faculty, staff, and the leadership of Cedarville University.
While his legacies are many, including a stellar career coaching men’s tennis and serving as a fearless spokesperson for biblical justice and racial equality, it’s Murray’s advocacy for a biblical worldview that may be his greatest impact at Cedarville.
For Murray, having a campus where every academic discipline is developed through the grid of biblical truth has been his passion.
“All facts pass through the worldview of the person teaching,” Murray notes in the podcast. “There is no such thing as a neutral fact. How can you be a Christian, teaching at a Christian school, and not have a worldview that’s Christ-centered? Dr. Murdoch rearticulated the University’s historic stand against racism last summer after the tragic death of George Floyd.
