Resume? Check. Interview? Check. Land the job? Check. Cedarville University graduates seemed to have mastered the art of the job search. Cedarville University Career Placement 2022

According to national data provided by the National Association of College and Employers, Cedarville University’s 99% career placement rate for the class of 2022 is 12-15% higher than the national average. The post-graduate placement rate tracks graduates employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation.

“Cedarville University students are very talented. They have good character and are highly motivated,” said Jeff Reep, director of career services at Cedarville. “The university does a great job of equipping students through rigorous academic programs and professional development that employers appreciate and want on their teams.”

Cedarville’s excellent academic programs and faculty do a great job preparing students for their professional careers. The career services program also plays a role in making students aware of job opportunities. Their services include resume reviews, mock interviews and career fairs and are often required of students through their classes.

Career services has certified professional career coaches, resume writers and online profile experts, which helps add credibility to students. The office helps prepare students with the necessary skills for post-graduation.

Graduated students are working first jobs at well-known companies such as the FBI, Honda, Amazon and the Mayo Clinic as well as spreading out to respected graduate schools like Harvard and Big Ten schools.

More students and parents are asking the question, what is the return on the investment?  “When I talk to prospective students I’ll say, ‘wherever you’re considering, find out what are their career outcomes, who recruits on their campus, and who hires their graduates,'” said Reep. “Everyone is spending a lot of money on recruiting students but how much is a university investing in career services to assist them for employment and graduate school?”

Located in southwest Ohio, Cedarville University is an accredited, Christ-centered, Baptist institution with an enrollment of 5,082 undergraduate, graduate, and dual-enrolled high school students in more than 175 areas of study. Founded in 1887, Cedarville is one of the largest private universities in Ohio, recognized nationally for its authentic Christian community, rigorous academic programs, high graduation and retention rates, accredited professional and health science offerings, and the #4 national ranking by the Wall Street Journal for student engagement.
