Cedarville University’s cyber security degree program has been named the nation’s top program by Intelligent.com, reflecting its commitment to both technological excellence and Christian values.
With the rise in cyber threats, the demand for skilled cyber security professionals is greater than ever. Cedarville’s program offers a combination of hands-on lab experiences, comprehensive lectures, and additional learning opportunities, preparing students to secure complex computer networks. Cedarville is one of 21 academic programs in the United States that has earned the distinguished National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations by the National Security Agency (NSA). Cedarville is the lone private Christian university among the prestigious group, which includes Carnegie Mellon University, the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Air Force Academy and Texas A&M University.
This ranking comes alongside other national accolades for the program. Earlier this year, Cedarville’s cyber operations program received the top honor in Cybersecurity Guide’s 2024 rankings. The program secured the No. 1 ranking for Best Overall cybersecurity program, while also being ranked No. 3 for Most Affordable nationwide.
In the past half-decade, Cedarville's computer science and cyber operations program has experienced remarkable growth, attracting students from diverse regions across the nation seeking excellence in cybersecurity education. The latest accolade from Cybersecurity Guide, which recognizes Cedarville’s cyber operations program specifically, further underscores Cedarville's standing as a national leader in cybersecurity education.
