Christmas is calling while leaves are still falling!
Cedarville University will officially open the Christmas season with its sixth annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. This event, which is open to the public, will be held on the Stevens Student Center patio.
Attendees of the ceremony will sing Christmas carols, listen to the Christmas story, and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate. The evening will be capped off with the lighting of Cedarville’s 32-foot Christmas tree.
The tree is decorated with over 1000 ornaments and 15,000 shimmering lights. The lighting ceremony has quickly become an anticipated tradition among the Cedarville community, including faculty, staff, students and residents in the Village of Cedarville.
