Sending Packages Prior to Getting Started

Important Notice

Many parents choose to send items for their student's residence hall room directly to campus so it is waiting for them when they arrive for Getting Started Weekend. If you will be sending packages to campus before your student arrives, please note the following requests from Postal Services:

  • Plan to ship items for an August 1 or later arrival date
  • For returning students, use your student's complete name — including full middle name — and campus box number on all items
  • For freshmen or transferring students, use your student's complete name — including full middle name — and include "New Student" on all items

Your student and their siblings will enjoy a full weekend of fun activities, including basketball games and an ALT Night. Fall Break Information

Fall break is coming up next week (October 19–22). Students will get a much-needed break from classes and spend time with family and friends. Please pray for our students, as many of them will be traveling during the weekend.

Fall Break Dining Hours

If your student will be staying on campus for the break, they'll need to be aware that the dining hall will be operating under abbreviated times. Here is the dining schedule for the break, Thursday, October 19, through Sunday, October 22:

  • Breakfast: 8:30–9:30 a.m.
  • Lunch: 12–1 p.m.
  • Dinner: 5–6 p.m.

Summer Storage

Monday, March 13, 2023

Three girls hanging out in a dorm room.Cedarville University has a limited amount of summer storage space for students whose home and summer residence are more than 1,000 miles from campus. Students were already sent storage guidelines and an application to request storage. The application must be submitted to Residence Life by 5 p.m. on March 31, 2023, and students whose applications are accepted will be notified by 5 p.m. on April 6. Students are not guaranteed storage.

Students will need to take care of this themselves, but a reminder from mom or dad never hurts!
