One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

Students are encouraged to become active members of one or more national and international professional societies. They organize meetings, promote tours of industry, travel to regional conferences, and rub elbows with professionals at senior section meetings. The following is a list of current engineering student organizations:

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

ASME is a student chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, promoting practical experience and professional development.

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)

ACM, the Cedarville University Association for Computing Machinery Student Chapter is an extracurricular, student-led organization that exists to provide opportunities for learning, career development, and networking for students in computer science, computer engineering, cyber operations, and related technical fields.

Cyber Team

Cyber Team is an extracurricular student-led organization that practices regularly and participates in competitions like the National Cyber League and the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition and also serves the community by promoting cyber awareness.

Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)

IEEE, a branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, exists to promote technical and professional growth among electrical engineering students.

Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)

SAE provides its members opportunities to gain broader insight into the engineering profession.

Society of Civil Engineers (CUSCE)

Society of Civil Engineers (CUSCE) is a student-led organization that provides students with opportunities to learn about civil engineering as a career, meet with local professionals, fellowship with other students, and serve our community. 

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

Society for Women Engineers is an organization that stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders.

The Society of Engineers Aiding Missions

SEAM is a Cedarville University student organization whose mission is to educate, equip, and engage engineers in the cause of world missions.

Tau Beta Pi ( tbp) Engineering Honor Society

Cedarville University is home to the Ohio Nu chapter of the National Engineering Society Tau Beta Pi.  Tau Beta Pi recognizes junior and senior engineering majors nation-wide for outstanding scholastic achievement combined with a strong character.

Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS)

 WiCyS is dedicated to bringing talented women together to celebrate and foster their passion and drive for cybersecurity.
